STRATEGIC MANAGEMENT. THEORY AND APPLICATIONS

The first edition of the book Strategic Management, Theory and Applications (now in its 4th edition) was published in 1996, the result of many years of elaboration and professional experience of the authors in both teaching and research in Strategic Management. It is currently one of the most widely used reference books in Spain for those studying a degree in Business Management and Administration and other related studies. Given its theoretical and practical content, it is also used by both business managers and consultants.

The text presents the basic contents of Strategic Management: Strategic Analysis (value creation, internal and external analysis, resources and capacities), Strategy Formulation (competitive strategies, corporate strategies, internal and external development, alliances, internationalization), and Strategy Implementation (organizational design, strategic leadership, organizational culture, organizational change, strategic planning and control).

STRATEGIC MANAGEMENT CASE STUDIES

The book concludes with Strategic Management Case Studies (now in its 4th edition), an application of the theoretical contents to the reality of some well-known Spanish businesses.

FUNDAMENTALS OF STRATEGIC MANAGEMENT

The new book Fundamentals of Strategic Management, appeared in 2012, is a reduced version of the main book thought for short courses in Strategic Management. It maintains the essential structure, that is, Strategic Analysis, Strategy Formulation, and Strategic Implementation.
